The ExEL Foundation was created to address the very real challenge of access to early learning opportunities for the underserved and disadvantaged children in rapidly growing Collier County. One of the most significant barriers to quality early childhood education is financial inaccessibility.
At $800 - $1,000 per month per child, early childhood education costs rival housing costs in the family budget. Lack of early learning opportunities greatly impacts a child’s future success and can create lingering academic and social barriers once they begin elementary school.
ExEL understands the importance and benefits of early learning education as the basis for future success for the individual in school, as well as for our community. In an effort to build a stronger community, ExEL is opening doors for these children so they can be empowered with the values, social skills, and knowledge required for success in Kindergarten and life.
Wouldn’t it be great if all the children in Northern Collier County had the opportunity to enter kindergarten on an equal footing?
